Contact Lamps

Showcased at WantedDesign during NYCxdesign week 2018

Hanging lamps inspired by the work of mathematician Ron Resch.

By designing folding circuitry that follows Resch’s geometric principles, I created forms that respond electrically to their structural transformations.

When any section of the structure is folded, the internal circuit changes; lighting up the tiles surrounding the fold.
